Maintenance Officer

About the Role

Baykins Pharmaceutical Company, a healthcare organization focused on the distribution and delivery of pharmaceutical products, seeks a Maintenance Officer to oversee the upkeep of its facilities located in Oniru, Lagos Island, Lagos State. This role involves direct involvement in facility maintenance, ensuring smooth operations through routine inspection and upkeep of equipment and infrastructure.

Primary Duties

• Conduct scheduled inspections and promptly address minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues within office and warehouse settings.
• Implement preventive maintenance routines for utility systems, office equipment, and other facility apparatus to prevent operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, equipment servicing, or major maintenance tasks requiring expert intervention.
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, monitor repair histories, and ensure workplace health and safety standards are strictly adhered to.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a technical qualification such as OND, HND, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with electrical wiring, plumbing installations, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, ability to respond quickly to emergencies, meticulous record-keeping abilities, and commitment to safety compliance.
