Facility Officer

Overview

Rayfield Medical Services Limited, a private healthcare provider offering clinical and diagnostic services in North-Central Nigeria, is seeking a Facility Officer to manage operations at its hospital in Jos, Plateau State. This role involves managing daily utilities, coordinating maintenance, and enforcing safety standards to support the hospital's functionality.

No. 30 Raphael Davou Street, Fwavwei, Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted operation of essential hospital utilities such as power (both public and generator), water supply, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate and assist with scheduled preventive maintenance and urgent repairs involving medical equipment, hospital furniture, and infrastructure.
• Manage sanitation efforts, including waste disposal and compliance with health and safety standards across clinical and administrative areas.
• Prepare and support emergency responses regarding power outages, water failures, or structural issues to maintain continuous patient care services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE); possession of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or National Certificate in Education (NCE) in technical or administrative fields is advantageous.
• Practical ability in technical troubleshooting and a foundational understanding of building utilities and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, effective verbal and written communication skills, and excellent organizational capabilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and night hours.
