About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. is searching for a skilled BI Developer specializing in Tableau Next to create, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and comprehensive business intelligence solutions. The candidate should possess strong analytical acumen and be proficient at transforming intricate data sets into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct interactive dashboards and reporting tools leveraging Tableau Next.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Enhance the performance and scalability of data visualizations.
• Integrate Tableau with multiple data sources including Snowflake, SQL Server, and various cloud platforms.
• Enforce data security protocols, governance measures, and role-based access controls within Tableau.
• Conduct thorough data analysis and validation to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Keep current with the latest Tableau Next functionalities and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI development with Tableau.
• Hands-on expertise in Tableau Next and advanced data visualization techniques.
• Strong skills in SQL and data modeling methodologies.
• Understanding of ETL workflows and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with data warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with effective communication skills.

Preferred Credentials

• Experience managing Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python or R for advanced data analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data security practices.
