Job description
Role Overview
The Global Mobility Specialist will provide expert relocation and mobility support specifically for onshore employees within the US. This role involves managing intra-US and international relocation activities with a strong emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality customer service. Responsibilities include updating relocation authorization documentation, coordinating with US counterparts and client contacts, verifying eligibility through Workday, and supporting audits across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end processing of relocation activities, including completion and handling of authorization forms using the Altair tool.
- Administer intra-US relocation cases, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate internal and external relocation movements, including group relocations and intern hire moves.
- Handle international business cases related to both short and long-term assignments globally.
- Generate and publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to track mobility metrics.
- Develop standard operating procedures and business documents to support mobility operations.
- Maintain adherence to strict deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform quality checks on transactional work, applying strong governance measures to uphold high standards.
- Provide effective training sessions as required and participate actively in training sessions for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 to 6 years of professional experience within the mobility domain focusing on US and global mobility processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of intra-US relocations across all states and familiarity with global mobility concepts.
- Proficient in using Workday for eligibility verification and navigation, with experience in ServiceNow, Altair, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Background in handling international relocations is beneficial.
- Experience with extended business travel management and cross-border compliance is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication capabilities and stakeholder management skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in quality assurance and governance practices to maintain service excellence.
Educational Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline is required, with preference given to candidates with human resource operations experience. Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
Working Conditions
- Flexibility and agility to work extended hours occasionally to meet work demands and deadlines.
- Work shifts may vary depending on geographical coverage to support a 24x7 service delivery model.
- The role requires working from the office premises; remote work is not offered.
