Shift Lead

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Lead to join B&Q Exeter on a permanent, full-time basis working 36.75 hours per week. This keyholder role includes shifts starting as early as 6am and finishing as late as 10pm. The full-time equivalent salary is £27,709.50 per annum, exclusive of a store-specific location allowance of £0.27 per hour, along with pension and 6.6 weeks of holiday entitlement.

Role Summary

As a pivotal figure in the store's daily operation, you will ensure a safe environment while optimizing the experience for customers and colleagues alike. You will manage shift operations, coordinate colleague deployment to maximize customer service, and serve as the primary contact for both customers and colleagues. Maintaining safety standards in the store at all times is a critical part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to maintain seamless daily functioning.
• Effectively assign and oversee colleagues to ensure excellent customer engagement.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer and team inquiries.
• Ensure consistent adherence to health and safety protocols.
