Role Overview

This Senior Software Engineer position focuses on developing robust APIs, platforms, and self-service tools designed to empower internal teams across the organization. The role demands an urgent and concentrated effort to evolve systems to handle rapid growth in user demand and business goals, alongside ensuring high system observability, resilience, and security through vigilant monitoring and incident management. The engineer will actively manage technical debt and foster a collaborative learning environment while contributing primarily to backend development with occasional full-stack contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create well-documented backend APIs, platforms, and self-service tooling to support various internal teams.
• Accelerate system development to meet expanding customer demands and business ambitions.
• Monitor, diagnose, and improve mission-critical production systems focusing on observability, resiliency, and security.
• Identify and communicate technical debt and propose strategies to simplify and increase system agility.

The Revenue Enablement group aims to build a monetization engine to elevate the company's value and maximize positive impact. The team focuses on developing flexible platform solutions that enable rapid monetization, enhance paid user growth, boost retention and loyalty, and unlock upselling and cross-selling opportunities while maintaining market relevance through personalization.

The Senior Engineer will spearhead the creation of a promotional platform enabling teams to implement effective offers efficiently. This includes deep integration with systems for content management, personalization, and experimentation, with a strong emphasis on scalability, usability, and self-service capabilities.
