Senior Fullstack Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our engineering team in Dubai. The role focuses on building scalable, cloud-native applications serving millions globally. You will work across the entire technology stack, developing backend services with Java and Spring Boot alongside modern React-based frontend applications.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, and maintain scalable backend services leveraging Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Utilize MongoDB and other database technologies efficiently.
• Engage in system architecture and technical design discussions to enhance solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested software code.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with other developers.
• Debug and resolve production issues, striving to improve system stability.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React with TypeScript.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in Java software development.
• In-depth knowledge of Java version 21 or higher.
• Strong proficiency with the Spring Boot framework.
• Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Comprehensive understanding of microservices.
• Hands-on experience with React and front-end development using TypeScript and ES6+ JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
• Experience managing builds with Maven and/or Gradle.
• Strong grasp of software design principles including clean architecture and design patterns.
• Proficiency in writing both unit and integration tests.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
