Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java Domain)

About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer specialized in Java to create, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that exceed customer expectations. This role demands technical expertise and a team-oriented mindset within an agile development setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement functional software applications prioritizing Java technologies to meet client requirements.
• Adopt Extreme Programming methods, including thorough code reviews and unit test implementations, to enhance software reliability.
• Embody the principles of the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto in all development duties.
• Produce detailed architectural and technical documentation supporting project development processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine user stories ensuring clear and precise requirement definitions.
• Partner with Quality Assurance teams to advance automated testing initiatives and resolve software defects.
• Assist DevOps teams with activities related to build and release automation.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related fields.
• Experienced with version control tools, especially Git.
• Familiar with frontend frameworks including AngularJS, ReactJS, and TypeScript; experience with mobile app development using Swift and Android platforms is a plus.
• Strong backend development expertise in Java or Kotlin, Node.js, and optionally other environments such as Ruby on Rails or Python.
• Knowledgeable in low-code platforms like OutSystems, Mendix, Pega, Appian, and Microsoft Power Apps.
• Practiced in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Extreme Programming, and acquainted with continuous integration and deployment workflows alongside cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Heroku.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo or TeamCity and proficiency in low-code development and wireframing tools, especially Figma.
• Comfortable working in Mac/Linux environments with a good understanding of Windows and UNIX/Linux server setups.
• Understanding of Design Patterns, unit testing, and mobile application development considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation, listening, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) plus relevant certifications is advantageous.
