About the Company

Qualcomm Global Trading Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Senior Full-Stack Developer to advance engineering and analytics efforts in the semiconductor product domain. This role involves crafting scalable big-data analytic applications applicable to product, manufacturing, quality, and reliability engineering processes.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will design and implement comprehensive full-stack solutions to handle high-volume data and analytics workflows. The position demands deep technical proficiency, effective collaboration across teams, and leveraging contemporary AI capabilities to boost engineering productivity and facilitate problem resolution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and build robust full-stack systems serving semiconductor product and operational teams with high data volumes.
• Develop secure and scalable backend services, microservices, and APIs to efficiently process engineering and manufacturing datasets.
• Create user-friendly, interactive front-end interfaces for data visualization, including yield and quality dashboards and analytics workflows.
• Architect and optimize data models using both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) platforms.
• Work closely with different functional teams such as product, test engineering, and IT for coordinated development efforts.
• Utilize AI and large language model (LLM)-based tools to accelerate coding, documentation, data analysis, and synthesize engineering insights from complex discussions and large datasets.
• Communicate design choices, tradeoffs, and architectural advice clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Optionally, contribute to AI agent system designs, including autonomous data processing agents, integration of agent workflows, or LLM tool connections.

Required Qualifications

• A professional background spanning 7 to 10 years in full-stack development.
• Proficiency with backend programming languages such as Node.js and Python.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong foundational knowledge of big-data architectures, distributed systems, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on skills with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience deploying software in cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exceptional communication abilities to articulate complex technical details across diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated history of integrating AI tools to enhance software development, accelerate analytics, or automate workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience designing agent-based AI applications or systems integrating large language models.
• Familiarity with semiconductor engineering datasets such as yield metrics, parametric data, test logs, product information, and reliability data.
• Knowledge of event-driven platforms including Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Expertise in system design, architecture, and technical documentation.

Educational Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines with at least two years in software applications engineering or software development roles.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in those fields with a minimum of one year experience in relevant roles.
• PhD holders in these fields also qualify.
• Additional experience of one year or more with programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python and debugging approaches.
