Job description
Job Overview
Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients and suppliers while overseeing complex automation projects involving control and safety systems. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and lead the coordination of project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of technical contact for clients and vendors.
- Form and lead project teams, managing internal resources including local and remote personnel.
- Prepare and issue project documentation, source Honeywell materials and third-party goods and services, test hardware and configurations, and ensure all shipments include necessary certificates and documentation.
- Accelerate project tasks to meet delivery timelines and maintain quality standards.
- Support on-site operations by securing appropriate expertise and resources.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Stay up to date with emerging technical challenges and solutions.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Honeywell hardware systems such as Experion, C300, and Safety Manager, along with third-party components like marshalling cabinets, power distribution panels, relay panels, auxiliary consoles, and cables.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Automation Engineering.
- 10 to 12 years of experience as a Lead Engineer managing automation projects.
- Proven success in executing automation projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector or similar industries.
- Experience collaborating with major EPC firms like Saipem, Tecnimont, and Technip, as well as with Oil & Gas end users.
