Communications Manager

Role Overview

This key position will focus on advancing Honeywell's brand narrative targeted at both internal and external stakeholders across the Saudi Arabia & Bahrain (KSA&B) growth region and wider META area. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications for Latin America and EMEA, this role is vital for executing an enterprise-coordinated communication strategy that increases brand visibility, understanding, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive communications plan—both internal and external—that aligns with the business goals of Honeywell as it evolves into a leading pure play automation company within the KSA&B region.
• Manage regional media outreach programs that integrate business strategy and local industry insights, collaborating closely with the Senior Communications Manager for META.
• Lead executive communications initiatives to showcase the regional President, enhancing media presence and boosting employee engagement and corporate reputation.
• Build and sustain relationships with principal journalists and media outlets, managing inquiries and interviews while supporting media activities across META.
• Innovate internal communication tactics leveraging tools like Poppulo and Viva Engage to effectively engage and connect with the dispersed workforce.
• Support transformative organizational initiatives including leadership transitions through tailored communication plans that address diverse audience needs.
• Oversee budget administration, vendor partnerships, event coordination, and cross-functional project teams.
• Collaborate with company divisions and government relations on crisis response and issue management.
• Create and refine media content such as press releases, articles, key messages, Q&A documents, and briefing materials.
• Champion the integration and application of AI in communication strategies.
• Travel availability up to 10-15% as required.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience (preferably 10-12 years) within large, matrixed B2B organizations leading communications and executive positioning programs.
• Established media contacts within Saudi Arabia and demonstrated success in pitching stories and managing media relations.
• Exceptional English writing abilities applying AP style, with Arabic fluency highly desirable.
• Strategic mindset with proven skills in communications counseling and plan development.
• Proactive issue identification and crisis mitigation capability.
• Self-driven and able to navigate fast-changing priorities in complex organizational settings.
• Strong project management skills with the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of social media, especially LinkedIn, and expertise in using Viva Engage for enhanced employee engagement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively across business units and corporate functions.
• Solid understanding of business processes and language.
