Job description
Role Overview
This hands-on role involves working directly on the manufacturing floor at our Carlow location. As a Production Operator, you will be tasked with operating various production machinery and equipment to support the manufacturing process, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and top quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Assemble, process, and package products following company guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately complete all required production documentation.
- Manage equipment start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
- Continuously monitor production operations and promptly report any concerns or faults.
- Maintain safety standards within a regulated manufacturing setting.
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized by applying 5S housekeeping principles.
- Collaborate effectively with shift team members to achieve production goals.
- Propose ideas aimed at process and quality improvements.
Candidate Profile
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those transitioning from retail, hospitality, warehousing, logistics, or customer service, as well as candidates with some manufacturing experience. Key attributes for success in this role include:
