With steady growth and continued investment, they seek to enhance their finance team by recruiting a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager.

Position Summary

The FP&A Manager will be instrumental in guiding financial planning, evaluating performance, and supporting commercial decision-making across the business. This broad role suits a professional who values collaboration with stakeholders, comprehends business dynamics, and converts financial information into actionable insights. The position also offers engagement with senior leadership and a chance to influence the finance department's ongoing development.

Key Duties

  • Oversee and direct the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Compile monthly management reports and analyze performance metrics.
  • Compare actual financial outcomes to budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances.
  • Design, update, and maintain complex financial models and forecasting tools.
  • Deliver insightful financial commentary to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with critical business areas to grasp performance and financial drivers.
  • Assist with both business planning and long-term financial forecasting activities.
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and develop business cases supporting investment and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
  • Detect market trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate these findings effectively to management.
  • Enhance existing processes related to reporting, forecasting, and FP&A functions.
  • Contribute to financial modelling supporting new projects and business opportunities.
  • Provide support for ad hoc commercial analyses and strategic projects as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a CA/CPA credential or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrates experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis roles.
  • Has worked previously within technology, fintech, or rapidly growing business environments (preferred).
  • Possesses advanced skills in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Exhibits proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement prowess.
  • Ability to simplify and translate complex financial data into clear, practical commercial insights.
  • Proactive and commercially-focused mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the skill to manage multiple priorities effectively.
