Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent and commercially aware Procurement Officer to handle procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services essential to our technology and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will ensure purchasing is timely, cost-effective, and compliant with corporate policies and project demands, while fostering solid supplier relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers aligned with company standards.
- Collect and analyze quotations to secure best value purchases in line with technical and project specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and delivery timelines with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders and track order progress up to completion.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and warehouse teams to guarantee material availability and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor and resolve supplier performance issues related to delivery, quality, or commercial terms.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, budgets, and contractual conditions.
- Maintain precise procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
- Identify potential areas for cost reduction, process enhancements, and supply chain optimization.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction, MEP, ELV, ICT, or technology industries.
- Deep understanding of procurement procedures, supplier relationships, and negotiation strategies.
- Experience sourcing technical materials and equipment for engineering or construction projects.
- Proficient use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic setting while handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
