Role Overview

The Audiovisual Engineer is instrumental in the design, deployment, and commissioning of sophisticated AV systems, including LED domes, 360-degree projection setups, spatial audio, and interactive media platforms. The role involves collaboration with media architects and content teams to craft harmonized AV experiences, programming and managing media servers and control systems, troubleshooting during live events, and ensuring scalability and compliance with safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of complex AV installations, including cutting-edge LED and projection systems.
Work jointly with design and content teams to synchronize multimedia presentations.
Program and operate various media servers and networked audiovisual devices.
Address and resolve AV technical issues promptly, especially during live events.
Maintain system scalability, reliability, and adherence to safety standards.
Guide junior engineers and contractors technically.

Candidate Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or allied disciplines.
Minimum of five years’ experience with large-scale AV or immersive projection projects.
Proficient in media servers such as Notch, Watchout, Disguise; and AV control systems including Crestron, Q-SYS, and AMX.
Experience in projection mapping, LED dome configurations, and spatial audio technologies.
Strong knowledge of AV networking, signal flow, and video/audio diagnostics.
Exceptional problem-solving ability under pressure and tight timelines.

Preferred Skills

Background in entertainment venues like arenas or theaters.
Experience with real-time interactive content systems.
Familiarity with 3D visualization and immersive environment content workflows.
