Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator will play an essential role in supporting the application and management of BIM and Information Management processes throughout technology and ELV projects. Collaborating closely with the BIM Manager and cross-disciplinary project teams, the role involves coordinating multidimensional BIM models, fostering cooperative workflows, ensuring adherence to BIM standards, and aiding smooth project execution over their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing BIM standards, digital workflows, and information management processes for ELV system projects.
• Create, coordinate, and maintain high-quality BIM models for ICT, ELV, AV, Security, and Smart systems.
• Develop and manage discipline-specific Revit families, templates, and BIM content repositories.
• Ensure BIM models meet project criteria, company BIM standards, BEPs, and compliance with ISO 19650.
• Lead coordination activities such as clash detection, issue monitoring, coordination meetings, and RFI management.
• Publish, revise, and distribute coordinated BIM models and outputs using Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and CDE platforms.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and onsite teams to align models with construction methods and installation sequences.
• Generate BIM-related reports, quantity take-offs, schedules, detailed asset records, and other relevant deliverables.
• Assist with as-built model creation, compiling asset registers, and preparing project handover documents.
• Conduct quality assurance on models and continuously optimize BIM processes and workflows.
• Identify construction feasibility challenges and deliver practical, model-based solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BIM modelers when required.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of BIM coordination experience within construction projects, particularly with ELV and/or MEP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and related BIM coordination tools.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans, ISO 19650 standards, CDEs, and information management principles.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM models, conducting clash detections, and delivering BIM project outputs.
• In-depth understanding of current MEP and ELV design and construction practices.
• Ability to prepare quantity take-offs, BIM reports, and comprehensive asset information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks efficiently, work autonomously, and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Revizto, Synchro, or equivalent 4D planning and coordination software.
• Experience developing BIM content libraries and templates.
• Background in coaching or mentoring junior BIM personnel.
