Role Overview

This position is ideal for an experienced Press Brake Operator seeking a reliable, permanent job within a modern fabrication setting. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards, and production schedules.
• Select and load appropriate tooling and materials for each job.
• Prepare, adjust, and configure machines according to specifications.
• Measure, align, and secure materials to ensure precise bending.
• Perform initial and ongoing quality assessments during the production process.
• Inspect finished components for compliance with accuracy and quality standards.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Coordinate closely with fabrication and production teams to fulfill targets.

Additional duties may be assigned by the line manager to meet business needs.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience operating press brake machines in fabrication or manufacturing settings.
• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering documents and instructions.
• Sound knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and bending techniques.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills combined with a flexible, proactive attitude.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience selecting tooling and setting up press brake equipment.
• Familiarity with quality and inspection standards protocols.
• Previous background in fabrication departments.
