Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Collect, categorize, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens and personal clothing efficiently.
• Operate laundry machinery with safety and precision.
• Keep accurate records of laundry processes and promptly report equipment or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to infection control procedures and universal precautions to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Engage courteously and professionally with residents, staff, and visitors to provide excellent customer service.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned as part of your duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in laundry services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Maintain a positive approach and communicate effectively with building occupants, management, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination protocols is required.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for prolonged periods.
• Tolerance to work around cleaning chemicals is necessary.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; capable of performing routine, repetitive work daily.
• Must reside within the service area.

Additional Information - Retention Bonus

• $1000 total retention bonus structured as:
• $250 after 150 hours worked
• $250 after 300 hours worked
• $500 after 900 hours worked
