About the Role

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper, an essential position responsible for ensuring cleanliness and safety within a long-term care environment. This role supports our commitment to improving the experience for our residents and community by maintaining hygienic and orderly surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily cleaning duties throughout resident rooms, bathrooms, common spaces, and office areas.
• Adhere to established cleaning standards and safety protocols to maintain proper sanitation.
• Document cleaning activities and promptly inform supervisors of any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow infection control guidelines and universal precautions to uphold sanitary conditions.
• Engage kindly and professionally with residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Perform other related duties as required by management.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Preferred but not mandatory: prior experience in housekeeping.
• Positive demeanor with effective communication skills to coordinate with building occupants and administration.
• Compliance with current COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull similarly weighted objects, and stand, sit, bend, or walk for prolonged durations.
• Ability to continuously perform repetitive tasks and manage exposure to cleaning agents.
• Capability to follow oral and written instructions thoroughly.
• Must reside within the service area.
