Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team in Pune District, Maharashtra. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications leveraging Java and Spring Boot frameworks within a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and manage backend services and applications with an emphasis on high performance using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable applications based on Microservices principles.
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure reliable functionality and efficiency.
• Engage with SQL databases for schema design, query tuning, and performance enhancements.
• Implement event-driven solutions utilizing Apache Kafka technology.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture to deliver quality software.
• Participate actively in code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards and industry best practices.
• Identify and resolve production issues while promoting continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming with practical experience.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot framework for backend development.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of SQL databases and query optimization techniques.
• Experience using AWS services for deployment and management.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka for event-driven application design.
• Understanding of REST API design paradigms, common design patterns, and distributed system concepts.
• Comfortable with Git version control, CI/CD tooling, and Agile practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
