About the Role
Join Home Group as a Housing Concierge focused on night work, dedicated to supporting vulnerable customers with complex care needs. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety of residents, maintaining secure and welcoming communal environments, and fostering positive relationships with neighbours.
Typical Responsibilities
- Conduct regular building patrols to monitor CCTV, fire doors, and communal spaces.
- Welcome residents and visitors while addressing minor repairs and cleanliness issues.
- Serve as the primary point of support for customers during night hours when broader teams or personal support networks are unavailable.
- Respond calmly, promptly, and equitably to incidents as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members and local partners to handle instances of anti-social behaviour.

Candidate Profile

Additional Information
- The role requires travel between Workington and Cockermouth homelessness services.
- The work schedule follows a rotating four days on, four days off pattern, with 12-hour night shifts from 8pm until 8am.
- Although primarily working nights and often alone, there are regular daytime meetings and training sessions.
- You'll utilize technology to monitor CCTV, maintain records, and communicate with staff.
- An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required and will be funded by the employer.
