Position Overview

Join Home Group as a Flexible Bank Support Coordinator in Launceston, Tasmania, where every day is a new opportunity to help individuals with complex needs gain independence. Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of support planning and oversee Support Workers to deliver individualized, client-focused assistance.
• Manage a variety of tasks including support delivery, safeguarding, administrative duties, and conducting meetings while handling multiple caseloads.
• Assist customers with everyday activities such as budgeting, meal preparation, and attending appointments.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to empower and protect clients.
• Promote client autonomy and help prepare them for moving into community living.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated passion and practical experience supporting others, preferably within supported housing environments.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a Level 3 Diploma in Care or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in evaluating referrals and coordinating support services effectively.
• Ability to adapt flexibly, work independently under pressure, and maintain resilience in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to provide flexible bank support across both outreach and residential programs serving vulnerable populations in Cornwall.

Work Conditions

• Work hours vary by service, including Monday to Friday 9am–5pm shifts, as well as weekend or evening shifts depending on service requirements.
• Flexible work locations across North/East Cornwall, including Bude, Launceston, Saltash, Liskeard, and outreach areas.
• Primary office bases are Launceston or Liskeard.
• Paid mileage for travel during work hours from the base location.
• Enhanced background check with barring list required (payment covered).
• Must possess a vehicle insured for business use and a valid driver's license; business mileage reimbursed.
