About the Role
Join Home Group as a Housing Concierge with a competitive salary of £26,300 per annum (£13.45 per hour) and excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan. This position involves night shift work, ideal for those who prefer active overnight hours. You will support vulnerable individuals, including those with complex care needs, ensuring their safety and comfort, as well as maintaining secure and welcoming premises while fostering positive relationships with neighbors.
Key Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the building, inspecting CCTV footage, fire doors, and communal areas.
- Welcome and assist residents and visitors, attend to minor repairs and cleanliness issues.
- Serve as the first point of assistance for tenants when other support systems or staff are unavailable.
- Respond promptly, calmly, and fairly to any incidents or concerns raised during your shift.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to handle and reduce anti-social behavior.
Working Hours and Environment
- Work a rotating four-week schedule between shifts from 9:30pm to 9:00am or 10:30pm to 9:00am.
- Provide service within an extra care scheme for individuals aged 55 and above.
- Though primarily lone night work, you will join daytime sessions for training and team meetings periodically.
- Use technology effectively for monitoring CCTV, keeping records up to date, and communicating with team members.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required and will be covered by the employer.
