About the Role
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork, part of The iNUA Collection, is seeking a full-time Receptionist to be the welcoming face and main point of contact for guests. This role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and supporting the smooth operation of the Front Office department.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and deliver personalized, high-quality service
- Efficiently process check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using hotel management systems
- Respond to guest queries in person, via phone, and email
- Assist with billing, payments, and handle daily cash transactions
- Collaborate with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the lobby and front desk areas adhering to brand standards
- Provide support to the Front Office Manager and team as required
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Experience in a customer-facing role; hospitality background preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure in a busy setting
- Positive demeanor, friendly personality, and a sincere passion for serving guests
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in front office or hotel reception
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems like Opera or equivalents
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus
