About the Role
Become a key member of the culinary team at Radisson Sligo, part of The iNUA Collection. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic chef eager to advance their culinary career in a dynamic and busy kitchen environment that values quality, creativity, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and artfully present dishes ensuring consistency with recipes and established presentation standards.
- Manage your assigned section efficiently during every service.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and the broader kitchen staff to deliver outstanding food quality across services.
- Mentor and support junior kitchen staff including Commis Chefs, fostering their skill development.
- Uphold rigorous food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards within the kitchen.
- Assist with stock management and food preparation, emphasizing reduction of waste.
- Contribute ideas for menus, specials, and seasonal dishes.
- Ensure all dishes serve meet the hotel's high standards in quality and presentation.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or comparable kitchen role, preferably within hotels or quality dining establishments.
- A genuine passion for food and maintaining high standards consistently.
- Sound knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen operations, and food prep techniques.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment.
- Positive, eager to learn and grow professionally.
- Culinary qualification is favorable but not mandatory with substantial relevant experience.
