Job Overview
MAC.BID specializes in acquiring truckloads of customer return and overstock merchandise and reselling these items individually via online auctions. The Facility Floater plays a crucial role by supporting all operational tasks within the facility to maintain seamless workflow, reporting directly to the Facility Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, clear, and inventory pallets efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and office areas using tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuums.
- Dispose of garbage responsibly to meet vendor guidelines and manage dumpster filling.
- Collect and compress cardboard materials for recycling.
- Facilitate prompt unloading of live trailers at the dock to prevent retention charges.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Availability for onsite work Monday through Friday for 8-hour shifts including a 30-minute lunch break; specific hours may vary based on workload and General Manager's direction.
- Physical ability to lift 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
- Capability to stand and walk continuously for several hours.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions and adhere to company policies.
