Job description
Job Summary
MAC.BID purchases truckloads of customer returns and overstock items, which are then sold individually via online auctions. The Scanline Floater plays a key role in preparing and organizing products for the scanning team, removing scanned goods, and properly storing items according to the company's system. This position reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.
Primary Responsibilities
- Examine incoming products for visible flaws or damage.
- Classify products into categories such as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
- Perform basic functionality tests on electronic items to determine condition.
- Transfer products onto the conveyor belt to be processed by scanners.
- Efficiently clear scanned items from the scanning area.
- Relocate products to designated bays and organize them on shelves based on auction and lot identifiers.
- Contribute to achieving team targets concerning both quantity and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and disposing of trash in empty bays and scan zones.
- Carry out additional duties as delegated by management.
Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Comfortable using technology and following written instructions and company policies.
- Capable of standing and walking for extensive periods.
- Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
