Job Overview
MAC.BID specializes in purchasing truckloads of customer returns and surplus stock, which are then sold individually through online auctions. The Removal Floater role is integral to facilitating all phases of customer item pick-ups. As part of the removal team, you will deliver excellent service to every winning bidder. This position reports directly to the Removal Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the shelving system and categorization of auction items.
- Welcome and assist customers in locating their auctioned products.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by making them feel positive about their purchases, encouraging future bids.
- Carry out other responsibilities assigned by management.
- Manage customer check-in and check-out during item collection.
Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break daily.
- Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Capability to comprehend and adhere to written instructions and company regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent credential.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
