Overview
The Facilities Coordinator position at CBRE involves collaborating with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure completion of facility-related work orders and tasks. This role contributes to the Facilities Management function, supporting Property Managers with all repair activities and investment plans for assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and service providers to enforce adherence to procedures, policies, and reporting standards.
- Receive and document client inquiries along with corresponding work orders.
- Gather and analyze performance and progress reports related to facility operations.
- Maintain organized records of work orders, proposals, and vendor-submitted paperwork.
- Oversee external activities such as waste management and recycling compliance.
- Follow written instructions, brief correspondence, and internal memos, seeking clarification when necessary.
- Address routine queries or complaints from clients, colleagues, and supervisors promptly.
- Resolve straightforward issues by applying established procedures, with limited discretion.
- Produce outputs by adhering to prescribed methods and processes, under close supervision.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED with up to two years of relevant experience.
- Ability to comply with basic work routines and standards effectively.
- Good communication skills to exchange clear and simple information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational abilities paired with a curious and proactive mindset.
- Fundamental math skills sufficient to perform simple calculations such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
