Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated De-Briefer to be part of our Reading team. Based onsite, this role primarily involves managing day-to-day transport operations, coordinating delivery processes, and maintaining exceptional service standards for InPost and its customers. Working a PM shift from 14:00 to 23:00, five days per week between Monday and Saturday, you will lead a team to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide drivers with detailed delivery routes and instructions for smooth, punctual deliveries.
- Conduct comprehensive de-briefs, setting high-performance targets to inspire continuous operational improvements.
- Accurately handle transport documentation to support flawless procedures.
- Promote strict Health & Safety compliance to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain real-time communication with drivers during shifts to monitor deliveries and provide timely updates to relevant teams.
- Be the main contact for driver queries and feedback, ensuring professional response and contributing to performance goals.
- Utilize strong PC skills, especially Word and Excel, to support smooth transport administration under demanding conditions.
Candidate Requirements
- Solid understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations.
- Previous experience in transport or logistics settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to solve problems proactively and manage challenges swiftly to ensure smooth operations.
- Familiarity with transport management systems like Microlise is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Additional Information
The role is based at InPost Reading, Unit 3, Worton Drive, Worton Grange, Reading RG2 0TG. You will work five days per week on a shift pattern that runs Monday to Saturday, from 14:00 to 23:00. The salary for this position is £12.71 per hour.
