Job description
Role Overview
Join a rapidly expanding UK hub within a global logistics company revolutionizing parcel delivery across the nation. As a Packer/Driver for night shifts at our Inverness depot, you will be an essential part of ensuring timely delivery of newspapers and time-sensitive parcels to retail customers while supporting depot operations with your driving and packing duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely load your delivery vehicle according to legal requirements.
- Deliver news trade and parcels to customers punctually and securely.
- Maintain the security of goods and vehicle throughout transit.
- Collect orders from previous days for next-day processing.
- Handle inbound magazine supplies by breaking down and loading them appropriately.
- Complete required documentation adhering to company procedures.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedural guidelines consistently.
Requirements
- Possess a full UK driving license with no more than six penalty points.
- At least three years of driving experience without disqualifications such as NI, DD, or DR.
- Strong knowledge of local commercial addresses and street layouts.
- Physically capable of managing the demands of warehouse tasks and multi-drop delivery routes.
- A diligent, positive, and flexible work attitude.
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing.
Working Hours and Location
- Location: 3 Walker Road, Inverness, IV1 1TY
- Shift: Tuesday to Saturday
- Working Hours: 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM

Hiring Process
