Role Overview
We are seeking a Cost Manager to join our Abu Dhabi office team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, sound commercial acumen, and an insightful understanding of cost drivers and value generation. This role emphasizes knowledge sharing and promoting innovation within service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cost and commercial support activities during post-contract phases.
- Oversee and maintain project budget updates.
- Accurately record minutes during commercial meetings.
- Utilize CostX, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools proficiently.
- Engage in contract administration post-contract, including site visits alongside project teams, preparing cash flow analyses, drafting monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards, managing changes, and supporting project closeout, claims, and variations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 and 7 years of pertinent professional experience.
- Prior work experience in the Middle East region is essential.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quantity Surveying.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract phases within project or programme delivery teams.
