Position Overview

The role of Care Worker P&S is a full-time permanent position based at our Limerick Physical & Sensory Service located in Patrickswell, County Limerick. This role involves delivering personal care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges within a high-support residential setting that emphasizes respect, dignity, positive behavioral approaches, community living, personal growth, and social inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a team to foster a caring, supportive environment for service users.
• Provide individualized, person-centered care aligned with the preferences and needs of the individuals supported.
• Maintain dignity, respect, equality, and choice in all interactions with service users.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possession of at least QQI Level 5 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver person-centered care.
• Strong commitment to upholding privacy and confidentiality of service users at all times.
• Hold a full clean driving license.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range starts from 33,217.44 (point 1) to 35,942.82 (point 13), negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
