BIM Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join an experienced construction team overseeing two €15 million educational development projects in Rathcoole and Stepaside. This role is focused primarily on construction-based BIM activities rather than design, emphasizing coordination, clash detection, and on-site delivery support.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) models spanning architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection and manage conflict resolution utilizing Revit and Navisworks software.
• Collaborate closely with site personnel, engineers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead and participate in BIM coordination meetings to align project objectives and workflows.
• Maintain BIM data and guarantee adherence to established project standards.
• Review and manage the integration of models and drawings throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Support the compilation and delivery of as-built documentation and final project handover materials.
• Help develop and implement BIM Execution Plans and adhere to ISO 19650 standards and processes.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of three years' experience working as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM role.
• Proficient user of Revit and Navisworks software for BIM coordination tasks.
• Prior experience within construction or main contractor environments is preferred.
• Sound understanding of BIM coordination principles and clash detection methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Relevant educational background in BIM, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
