About the Company and Role
An established Main Contractor based in Swords, County Dublin, with extensive experience in residential, education, healthcare, and commercial construction projects, as well as modular and accelerated construction initiatives, is looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their head office team. This role involves overseeing the entire bid process from identifying opportunities to submitting tenders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end bid and tender submissions.
- Lead preparation and submission of tender documents through the eTenders platform.
- Analyze tender documents to identify critical requirements and potential risks.
- Coordinate inputs from commercial, design, construction, and supply chain departments.
- Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposal submissions.
- Oversee tender schedules to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Engage actively with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
- Maintain and update a robust pipeline of upcoming tender opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Bid Management or Tendering within the construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage tenders for public sector projects, including use of eTenders.
- Experience working within a Main Contractor environment.
- Thorough understanding of construction tendering processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
- Capability to handle multiple tender submissions and deadlines simultaneously.
Compensation
The package includes a salary ranging between €65,000 and €80,000 plus additional benefits.
