Role Overview
As an Accommodation Supervisor, you will play a vital role ensuring top-notch cleanliness and smooth operation of our housekeeping team. This position involves hands-on work on the floor, overseeing both internal staff and contracted cleaning companies, and stepping in as acting Housekeeping Operations Manager when needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect hotel rooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Serve as a substitute for the Housekeeping Operations Manager during absences.
- Manage coordination and communication between internal housekeeping staff and external cleaning contractors for seamless teamwork.
- Coach and train housekeeping personnel to uphold and exceed quality standards.
- Oversee external cleaning service orders and verify delivery documentation.
- Collaborate closely with hotel hosts and maintenance teams to meet guest requests efficiently.
Candidate Profile
- Proven prior experience in a similar supervisory role within housekeeping.
- Strong passion for cleanliness and organization with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident and cheerful presence that enhances workplace morale, with a good sense of humor.
- Comfortable and skilled in engaging with an international clientele, adept at addressing diverse guest needs.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential.
