Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role on the floor ensuring the upkeep of hotel rooms and public areas, act as the deputy for the Housekeeping Operations Manager, and oversee the housekeeping team including internal staff and external cleaning services. Your duties include training and coaching team members to maintain high quality standards and coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest needs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public spaces by being actively present on the floor.
• Step in to manage operations in the absence of the Housekeeping Operations Manager.
• Manage and harmonize the work of both internal housekeeping staff and external cleaning contractors.
• Deliver training and coaching to the housekeeping team to ensure compliance with established hygiene and quality standards.
• Coordinate logistics with external cleaning companies, managing orders and verifying delivery documentation.
• Collaborate closely with hotel hosts and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly and efficiently.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a related role.
• A genuine passion for cleanliness and strong attention to detail.
• Confident and positive interpersonal skills, with a natural sense of humor and team spirit.
• Enjoy working with a diverse, international guest community and able to respond intelligently to their various needs.
• Proficient in spoken English.
