About the Role

The Math and Physics Instructor at Qatar Technical Institute (QTI) plays a vital role within the training ecosystem by delivering high-quality vocational, technical, and defense education aligned with Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) standards. Positioned within the General Studies department, which covers the first year of a two-year diploma, this role involves teaching and supporting curriculum development for Math and Physics subjects to military students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Math and Physics lessons following QTI policies and curriculum guidelines.
• Support military students’ academic achievement and foster subject mastery.
• Contribute actively to curriculum design, quality assurance, and continuous enhancement initiatives.
• Create an inclusive, student-oriented environment that encourages critical thinking and active engagement.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and military stakeholders to support departmental goals.
• Maintain accurate class records, meet reporting requirements, and participate in performance management processes.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a professional and safe learning space.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified teacher status or relevant education/training qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., M.Ed., MA, BA, or Diploma in Math, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching Math and Physics, preferably with international student cohorts in varied settings.
• Proficiency with teaching and administrative technologies.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Dedication to cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and ongoing improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within military environments.
• Prior teaching in Middle Eastern contexts.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Capability to support and possibly cover additional subjects or training activities based on qualifications and experience, following further training or mentoring if needed.
