Role Overview

The AI Accelerator team in Singapore seeks an Associate Data Engineer to advance our machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) solutions within cybersecurity. You will work on data science projects optimizing threat detection, automation, and classification technologies, collaborating closely with research to implement scalable workflows using large language models (LLMs) and other ML methods for production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI/ML and NLP technologies to enhance threat identification and data analysis.
• Collaborate with research and cross-functional teams to integrate production-ready AI models and workflows.
• Contribute to the evolution of Proofpoint's security platform in a cloud environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming with experience in machine learning libraries.
• Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, NLP, and LLM techniques.
• Experience using Git for version control and teamwork.
• Understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity domains, including threat detection, data privacy, or anomaly detection, is highly beneficial.
