Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Software Developer who specializes in AI and machine learning to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, implementing, and refining robust AI/ML models that enhance our digital insurance platform. This role involves driving intelligent automation, extracting insights from data, and enabling new, personalized insurance features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and deploy scalable AI and machine learning models utilizing frameworks including TensorFlow and other relevant tools.
  • Apply natural language processing (NLP) methods to improve customer engagement and automate document handling tasks.
  • Manage model training workflows with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, including building ETL pipelines to extract and transform data.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to integrate AI solutions into the platform, ensuring reliable deployment via cloud services such as AWS.
  • Perform data mining and in-depth analytics on vast datasets to generate actionable insights supporting business decisions.
  • Improve database structures and handle data workflows efficiently using SQL, SAS, Talend, and other analytical software.
  • Keep updated with emerging innovations in AI, including quantum engineering, to enhance the company’s technology capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in AI, machine learning engineering, or a closely related domain.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating AI and ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow or equivalents.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python; knowledge of Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA is advantageous.
  • Hands-on familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Talend for processing and analytics.
  • Competent in NLP, data mining, model development, training, and deployment strategies.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AWS, for scalable model hosting and management.
  • Strong foundation in database design with proficiency in SQL; familiarity with BI tools such as Looker is preferred.
  • Experience using analytics software such as SAS or R, along with unstructured data analysis experience, is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
