Key Responsibilities
- Define technical strategies for the Mission Control UI, including full-stack React frontend development, associated APIs, and automation for deployment and testing.
- Bridge collaboration between product teams, designers, and backend engineers by implementing Figma designs, identifying early gaps, and removing blockers.
- Create a customer-facing experience that makes advanced AI agents transparent, manageable, and reliable around the clock at an enterprise scale.
- Thrive in a dynamic, rapidly scaling environment, collaborating across multiple engineering and product teams with significant capacity for impactful contributions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Availability to work onsite four days a week at our Belfast office.
- Extensive hands-on experience building large-scale systems using JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar language.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript paired with experience supporting UI backends such as Rails, Swing, Node.js, or equivalents.
- Experience or enthusiasm to quickly learn micro-frontend (MFE) architecture.
- Expertise in cloud-native development, deployment automation, and container technology; familiarity with AWS is advantageous.
- Strong design sensibility and attentiveness to user experience.
- Ability to analyze API contracts meticulously, identify gaps, and proactively communicate issues early.
- Knowledge of front-end security best practices, web standards, and accessibility considerations.
- Robust debugging capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and aptitude to coordinate effectively with colleagues internationally.
- Leadership and communication skills including mentoring peers and managing stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive mindset focused on execution despite uncertainty.
- Willingness to join an on-call rotation aligned with US-based team members.
- Interest in agent-generated UI technologies and how user interfaces adapt to automated content generation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Background with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex and familiarity with agentic communication protocols like A2A or MCP.
- Experience processing large-scale event streams is a plus.
