Overview
We seek a well-organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our client's team in Ashbourne, County Meath, Ireland. This role involves providing vital administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily warehouse operations, maintaining precise records, handling documentation, and supporting various warehouse tasks. The position requires adherence to company policies and meeting customer expectations consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and current inventory records within the system.
- Conduct routine stock audits and investigate any stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to resolve inventory-related issues and maintain stock accuracy.
- Ensure thorough and compliant completion of warehouse-related documentation according to company and customer standards.
- Keep organized records of deliveries, shipments, received goods, and stock movements.
- Assist in preparing operational, inventory, and compliance reports for management review.
- Implement administrative processes aligned with company procedures and client requirements.
- Effectively communicate with customers and suppliers concerning orders, deliveries, collections, and inquiries.
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and facilitate timely resolutions.
- Coordinate with the Transport Team to manage inbound and outbound shipments, respecting specific customer instructions.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in planning and coordinating daily warehouse tasks.
- Provide administrative backing to warehouse staff and ensure operational documentation is accurately completed.
- Promote a safe, clean, and compliant workspace by supporting health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) efficiently to maintain stock control and enhance operational productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in administrative roles related to warehouse or warehouse support functions.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
- Practiced user of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional accuracy and keen attention to detail in managing records and documents.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Sound understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory management processes.
