Role Overview

A busy Cork city-based practice seeks a Trainee Tax Advisor to provide comprehensive tax compliance and advisory support to various corporate and private clients. Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert tax advisory and compliance services across corporate and private client portfolios.
  • Prepare and review detailed position papers and tax return documents.
  • Interpret and apply Irish tax legislation to analyze and resolve tax-related issues.
  • Support tax audit processes through preparation and assistance.
  • Create insightful tax commentary for client communication and publication on the firm’s website.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a professional accountancy qualification: ACA or ACCA.
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience in Irish tax practice.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both tax compliance and advisory services within a practice setting.
  • Comprehensive technical understanding of Irish tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of managing multiple client relationships effectively.
  • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service and fostering team growth.
