About the Role
Our client based in County Meath is actively searching for an experienced Tax Senior to join their expanding tax practice which operates throughout multiple locations in Ireland. This role involves close collaboration with a Tax Partner within a supportive and growing tax team dedicated to both tax compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and thoroughly review tax returns spanning various tax categories, supporting both compliance and advisory projects.
- Conduct detailed tax research and provide assistance in developing tax planning strategies for individuals, companies, partnerships, and other client structures.
- Provide mentorship and assistance to junior staff, including overseeing workload management, training, and resolving technical questions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, and support initiatives aimed at business growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Qualified Tax Advisor qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working within a demanding Irish practice environment.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of Irish tax legislation and compliance standards.
- Experience servicing SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines efficiently.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
