Audit Senior

About the Role

A respected and well-established accountancy firm in Cork is looking to hire an experienced Audit Senior to join its expanding team. This position presents a fantastic chance for someone with at least two years of Irish audit practice experience to further their career within a professional, supportive, and forward-thinking organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead audit projects for a diverse group of SME and corporate clients across various industries.
• Engage directly with clients, addressing inquiries and offering expert guidance throughout the audit cycle.
• Examine financial data to detect risks and suggest enhancements to client internal controls and systems.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff, ensuring audits are completed correctly and in line with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with ACA or ACCA credentials.
• At least 2 years' experience working in audit within an Irish practice setting.
• Strong command of auditing standards and accounting regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster effective client relationships.
