About the Role
ASD Unique Services LLP, a family-run care provider in East Sussex, is offering positions for Support Workers in Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea. Our organisation specialises in providing residential care and support for adults with autism and/or learning disabilities, including those with complex or challenging needs. We strive to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes independence and meaningful community involvement.
We operate four community-based residential services focused on empowering individuals to live as independently as possible while enjoying their local communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support daily living activities of adults with autism and learning disabilities.
- Encourage and enable independence in the people we support.
- Facilitate access to community activities, participating in local social inclusion opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide consistent and compassionate support.
Candidate Profile
- Compassionate, patient, and caring mindset.
- Dependable, responsible, and proactive attitude.
- Positive approach with willingness to learn continuously.
- Comfortable working with adults presenting complex or challenging needs.
- Dedicated to upholding dignity, choice, and independence for service users.
- Ability to operate effectively within a team environment.
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation & Working Pattern
- Competitive pay of £12.71 per hour for candidates aged 21 and over (conditions apply).
