Style Supervisor

Position Summary

As a Style Supervisor based in Dubai, you will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and pools after cleaning to ensure they meet quality standards. Your duties include managing room status through sold room reports, prioritizing cleaning tasks, and updating statuses of departing rooms. Collaborating closely with Housekeeping management, you will help oversee daily operations and serve as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments. You will also be responsible for documenting and resolving room discrepancies with the Front Desk, preparing and communicating room assignment changes, and ensuring smooth shift handovers through clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Support management in staff hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies, promptly reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance while safeguarding company confidentiality and assets.
• Greet and acknowledge guests warmly and professionally, anticipating their needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain effective communication with coworkers, fostering positive working relationships and appropriately addressing employee concerns.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations consistently.
• Physically perform tasks including moving objects up to 55 pounds unaided and heavier objects with help; operate housekeeping carts and related machinery over uneven terrain.
• Perform movements such as bending, stooping, reaching, standing, sitting, kneeling, and walking for extended periods during shifts.
• Use fine motor skills to grasp, turn, and manipulate items; enter and retrieve information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Read and verify diverse information formats accurately, and complete other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
