Position Overview
The role of Space Planner at CBRE involves collaborating closely with client teams to manage non-project related queries throughout the space planning lifecycle. This position is integral to the Moves, Additions and Changes division, which oversees space design, construction, and relocation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track small to medium non-project moves, space planning, and inventory control of furniture and workstations.
- Gather, organize, and assess data concerning client facility needs and physical space requirements.
- Perform supply and demand data evaluations, providing informed recommendations to clients.
- Participate in meetings with client representatives to support space planning coordination.
- Keep drawings and related databases current and accurate.
- Report on work environment quality, delivery efficiency, and effectiveness to clients and service partners.
- Apply standard principles with some practical experience; lead by example in adherence to CBRE RISE values.
- Maintain a positive impact on personal work quality by following established procedures and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate clearly by exchanging straightforward information, asking relevant questions, and confirming understanding.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree with up to three years relevant experience; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Capable of using existing procedures to address standard problems effectively.
- Proficient in analyzing information and standard practices to make sound judgments.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrates strong organizational capabilities and an inquisitive mindset.
