Senior Specialist - IT Security Operations

Overview

We are looking to hire a highly experienced Senior Specialist in IT Security Operations who will be responsible for managing and optimizing security operations across the company’s enterprise systems and asset environments. This role is vital to maintaining robust security controls, managing cyber risk, and ensuring adherence to corporate security standards and internal cybersecurity policies. Collaboration with managed service providers and cross-functional internal teams is an essential aspect of this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise daily IT security operational activities organization-wide.
• Continuously evaluate security control performance and drive enhancements.
• Administer the complete incident management lifecycle including identification, prioritization, escalation, and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to incidents, service requests, and change management processes.
• Monitor and guarantee timely remediation of findings from Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing.
• Support adherence to regulatory frameworks including NCA, PDPL, and various ISO standards.
• Manage performance across critical security areas such as Cloud Security and Identity Security.
• Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports highlighting incidents, SLA compliance, vulnerabilities, and security control efficiency.
• Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for IT Security Operations.
• Coordinate efforts with Managed Service Providers and internal teams to ensure consistent and effective security service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a comparable discipline.
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience in IT Security Operations or Cybersecurity.
• Preferred professional certifications include Security+, Network+, or equivalent credentials.
