Job description

Role Purpose

Lead the coordination of security and access operations for the Film Studio facility, ensuring safe and well-managed access for all stakeholders including production crews, tenants, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and equipment. Serve as the key operational liaison connecting studio teams, security providers, and internal departments to safeguard people, assets, confidential productions, and maintain seamless operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee access arrangements for a variety of users such as productions, tenants, employees, visitors, VIPs, contractors, suppliers, and vehicle/equipment movements across studio locations.
  • Function as the primary contact point for security matters coordinating closely with outsourced security firms, SAFE, and internal teams on daily operations.
  • Design, implement, and uphold access protocols including credentialing standards, visitor procedures, and controls for restricted zones.
  • Manage production-specific security strategies, including coordinating crew logistics, equipment deliveries, parking, loading, and access requirements.
  • Facilitate secure onboarding and offboarding processes for tenants, productions, contractors, and temporary operational staff.
  • Keep track of security incidents, unauthorized access attempts, lost credentials, risks, and disruptions, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Align emergency response actions, assist evacuation procedures, log incident reports, and support security-related corrective initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive records on access, visitors, incidents, security reports, and required documentation following governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, HSE, IT, Commercial, and Corporate Enablement teams to address security and access dependencies.
  • Assist with physical security preparations for workshops, events, productions, VIP hosting, and other significant activities.
  • Ensure integration of security requirements in operational readiness, tenant onboarding, and production activation plans.
  • Supervise security provider performance including staffing, response times, and quality of service delivery.
  • Support deployment and management of CCTV, access control systems, badge issuance, and physical security policies in coordination with IT and security vendors.
  • Identify potential security vulnerabilities and propose enhancements for access workflows, site movement, parking, loading, and restricted area governance.
  • Compile and present security performance updates, incident analyses, and risk escalations for senior management review.

  • Compliance of security service providers with SLA requirements.
  • Timely reporting and resolution of incidents.
  • Accuracy and completeness of access and visitor logs.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's or diploma in Security Management, Operations, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related disciplines.
  • Certifications in security, access control, emergency response, or incident handling are advantageous.

Experience

  • 4 to 7 years in security operations, access control, site coordination, protective services, or related operational security roles.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume traffic of visitors, contractors, vehicles, or equipment and event-type operations.
  • Experience dealing with outsourced security teams and specialized access plans for productions, tenants, or events is preferable.

Preferred Background

  • Work exposure in film studios, entertainment venues, events, hospitality, mixed-use developments, industrial campuses, or sensitive/high-profile environments.
  • Experience managing VIP visits, ensuring production confidentiality, restricted area controls, and operational security planning is a plus.

Technical and Functional Expectations

  • Expert knowledge of access control systems, visitor management, credentialing procedures, and restricted area protocols.
  • Effectiveness in organizing personnel, vehicles, and equipment movement without interrupting production workflows.
  • Familiarity with physical security processes including incident reporting, emergency handling, and escalation pathways.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills for liaising with security providers, studio productions, tenants, and internal divisions.
